Deleting your account and data from the Tienda Carpfishing app

From the Android or iOS app, you can directly start the complete deletion of your account. Open "Privacy and delete account", log in or verify your identity if requested, and confirm the notices. The app will send the request to Shopify and the erasure of the app's own data will begin. You do not need to write to support to complete the process.

Once the request has been accepted, the app will display "Request registered. Shopify has started the deletion of the account". Deletion is not always immediate, and Shopify may temporarily retain data required by law.

If you cannot access the app

As an alternative, write from your account email address to incidencias@tiendacarpfishing.es with the subject "Solicitud de eliminación de cuenta de la app". We may request reasonable verification of your identity, but never your password, bank details or card numbers.

What the request covers

The request covers the deletion of the customer account managed by Shopify and of the app data related to it, including the device association, the notification token, the link to the customer and the attributable usage events, except for data that we are legally required to retain.

Data that may be retained

Certain data relating to orders, invoicing, fraud prevention, compliance or claims may be retained for the periods required by the applicable legislation. We will inform you of which information must be retained and the reason why. We will respond within a maximum of one month; where the complexity or the number of requests so justifies, this period may be extended by a further two months, and we will inform you of this during the first month.

Only turning off notifications

If you only want to stop receiving notifications, you can turn them off from the notification settings of Android or iOS without deleting your account.
